Maintenance Notes

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Darryl Buckley, the newest addition to our team as our new groundsman! Darryl brings a wealth of experience and a passion for maintaining beautiful and well-kept outdoor spaces. His dedication to creating a clean and safe environment for all residents is truly commendable. We are excited to have Darryl on board and are confident that his contributions will greatly enhance the quality of life in our community. If you see Darryl around the property, be sure to say hello and give him a friendly welcome!

To keep our plumbing system in good condition and avoid costly repairs, please DO NOT pour grease, oil, or fat down the garbage disposal or sink drain.

Grease Disposal

Why is Grease a Problem?

  • Clogs Pipes – Grease hardens as it cools, leading to blockages in pipes.

  • Damages the Garbage Disposal – Grease can coat and dull the disposal blades, reducing efficiency.

  • Causes Drain Backups – Over time, buildup can lead to slow drainage and even complete blockages.

  • Attracts Pests – Grease residue in pipes can attract insects and rodents.

Proper Ways to Dispose of Grease

Let it Cool & Throw it Away – Pour grease into a container, let it solidify, then discard it in the trash.
Use Paper Towels – Wipe greasy pans with a paper towel before washing.

By following these simple steps, you help keep our plumbing system running smoothly.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Seasonal Tips ❄️⛄

As we embrace the colder months, here are a few seasonal tips to help you stay cozy and safe this winter:

  • Keep Heating Systems Maintained: Ensure your heating system is working efficiently by keeping baseboards clear of obstructions.

  • Prevent Frozen Pipes: Let faucets drip slightly during extremely cold temperatures to prevent pipes from freezing. Insulate exposed pipes if needed.

  • Stay Safe on Slippery Surfaces: Be cautious of ice and snow around your apartment complex. Wear proper footwear and report any hazardous areas to management.

  • Check Windows and Doors: Seal any drafts by checking windows and doors for leaks. A quick check can keep your apartment warmer and your energy bills lower!

Stay warm, safe, and enjoy the season! If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out to the management team.
